First release of BNE Careers Expo Tickets

2000 jobs on offer

BNE Careers Expo

Tickets for the BNE Careers Expo have just been released online, after thousands of people pre-registered for the event which will take place on the 10th of September.

“We know right across Brisbane Airport there are 2000 positions available. We believe by the time the 2032 Brisbane Olympic and Paralympics come around, we will have 10000 extra people working across the precinct. So now is a good time to be thinking about a job at BNE,” according to Brisbane Airport Corporation CEO, Gert-Jan de Graaff.

The ticketed event will be held at Skygate, from 9am - 2pm on Saturday the 10th of September.

27 exhibitors have already signed-on to attend the BNE Careers Expo, with this number rising by the day. They include Airservices Australia, Qantas, plus companies recruiting for catering, security, cleaning, baggage, ground handling, retail, hotels, childcare and car rental.

Training and education providers will also be on hand to help people map out a pathway into the sector, including Aviation Australia and Griffith University.

“This is a great chance to come and see the broad range of positions that are available at Brisbane Airport and meet face to face with companies who are employing right now,” says Jane Dionysius, Executive General Manager of Human Resources at Brisbane Airport Corporation. “This is a fantastic opportunity to think about what a career at the airport could look like for you.”
