Brisbane Airport voted Best in Australia/Pacific in 2022 Skytrax global awards
Friday, 17 June 2022: Brisbane Airport (BNE) is celebrating after claiming two prestigious global Skytrax World Airport Awards overnight in Paris, France for Best Airport and Best Airport Staff (Australia/Pacific).
Gert-Jan de Graaff, Brisbane Airport Corporation’s Chief Executive Officer, said the awards reflected the dedicated hard work and passion of BNE’s people and partners, and he was proud the airport was recognised as the gold standard in aviation service throughout the region.
“It is humbling that these prestigious awards were decided by millions of passengers voting in the largest global airport customer satisfaction survey.
These awards reflect BNE’s commitment to not just meeting, but exceeding, the expectations of our customers, with customer experience being central to everything we do."

The World Airport Survey was conducted from September 2021 until May 2022, and over 100 customer nationalities participated in the survey.
The customer surveys were provided in English, Spanish, and Chinese. Over 500 airports are featured in the 2022 survey results.
